OnePlus has finally launched two cheaper and mid-range options to the US and Canada on January 15th.

Features of OnePlus Nord N10 5G:

  • The N10 5G’s 6.49-inch high-refresh rate display has 128GB of expandable storage.
  • It works on 30W fast charging, similar to the original Nord.
  • Nord N10 5G consists of the Snapdragon 690 processor with an LCD screen instead of OLED.
  • Storage of 6GB.
  • Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port.
  • The model does still feature four rear cameras: a 64-megapixel main camera and wide-angle, macro and monochrome cameras.
  • The handset is limited to potentially slower low and mid-band 5G in the US.
  • It comes with a fingerprint sensor and dual stereo speakers.
  • It offers a high-refresh rate 90Hz display and fast charging for $299.99 ($389 CAD).

Features of OnePlus Nord N100:

  • OnePlus Nord N100 features a large display and battery for $179.99 ($239 CAD).
  • It only works with 4G networks.
  • It has a larger (but lower-resolution) 6.52-inch display with 5,000 mAH battery.
  • Nord N100 consists of the Snapdragon 460 and 64GB starting expandable storage.
  • For connectivity, it includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/ A-GPS and a USB Type-C port.
  • The model also features 18W fast charging.  
  • For cameras, it has three on the back with a 13-megapixel main camera.

Conclusion –

Both OnePlus Nord N10 5G and N100 phones run Android 10 skinned with OxygenOS. OnePlus says that the models will be updated to Android 11 in the future. The Company is also guaranteeing two years of security updates for each handset.

The phones cost less than as expected. OnePlus N10 5G and the N100 from OnePlus’ carrier partners T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile can be purchased from the online platforms like OnePlus, Amazon, Best Buy and B&H.
